When was the last time you googled a Super Bowl commercial just after it aired so you could watch it again? I did. Just now, actually. This brought on by the commercial collision of art, i.e., Diego Rivera's "Detroit Industry" mural at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and industry, the great looking Chrysler 200, and rap, Eminem's "Lose Yourself". Brilliant that a Mexican painter could capture the soul of hard driving Detroit industry. Beyond cool to use rap music to marry the hopes and dreams of a city that's seen better times with the reminder that Detroit still makes automobiles. Convergence is a beautiful thing.
